Tabas Coal Mines are located 85 Kilometers south of the provincial town of Tabas in an area of 1200 square Kilometers.
This project consists of preparation of infrastructures, carrying out engineering of one of the mine and supply of suitable technology and machineries for the development of the mine as well as training, technical assistance and commissioning of the longwall, coal handling and the coal preparation plants.
The project which is being performed on a turn-key financed basis is a joint venture between IRITEC and IRASCO and is expected to be completed by May 2006.
